広尾プラザ

The 2005 holiday Seven Dwarfs animatronics display at the Hiroo Plaza (corner where Citibank and Shinsei banks are located, and Meiji-ya) in Hiroo, Japan. It's been there since I first started living there in 2002, though I was not there to see it in the past couple of years.

Hailing from London, U.K., VNV Nation are an uncompromising due who craft technological soundscapes by combining elements of classical mysic, electronics, philosophy, and art. Sort of a Depeche Mode meets Mozart stumbling upon Gants by way of Van Gogh. As a drummer myself, I can't help but become enamoured of bands that make the drum a centerpiece of the live show.

They played in L.A. on New Years Eve last year (2005) but I couldn't make it. There's always next time.
